June 5th – Beaumont Hotel and Wind Farm - $73.00pp
We will head southeast for a trip to Beaumont. We will start with a tour of the ranch on which the wind farm is located. With the guide, we will be able to get close to experience how enormous the turbines are and to understand how they function. We will then have an included lunch at the Historic Beaumont Hotel. Established in 1879 in the beautiful Flint Hills, it was first used as a stagecoach station. The wooden, water tower built in 1885 still stands across from the hotel and is the only one still in use in the United States. Come join us for a fun and informative day..
