May 22nd – St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Boyer Gallery - $79.00 pp Sit back and relax as we make our way to Seneca to tour the beautiful St. Mary’s Catholic Church. In contrast to its rather simple exterior, inside, the lavish ornamentation, leaded windows and murals are breathtaking. Built of nearby limestone and completed in 1894 it has been recognized by the Kansas Legislature with a resolution for its interior restoration. We will then go to Belleville and make a stop at the Boyer Gallery. You will be delighted by the mass of wire and gears that cause the animated displays to move. Each display features Paul Boyer’s ability to combine carving and mechanics, which is unparalleled. Lunch is included.
