Day 2: Today we’ll be crossing the lower parts of Illinois and into Indiana. Then finally it’s Kentucky and into Tennessee. By mid-afternoon, we will be checking into the elegant Opryland Hotel!! The lights and decorations will stun you. This is southern hospitality at its grandest, with more than 2,500 rooms. After checking in, you can familiarize yourself with the surroundings and start enjoying this huge property. We will enjoy a Delta River Boat ride through the 4.5 acre indoor garden, among waterfalls, all under a magnificent glass-domed ceiling. Tonight we will enjoy one of the real treats of this tour, the elaborate and tasty Christmas Dinner in the new enchanted holiday forest setting. Following dinner, we’ll move to the theater for the spectacular holiday show featuring Louise Mandrell. This evening’s delightful sights, smells and joyful sounds of Christmas are unlike any other holiday celebration in the world. This is truly a day we shall never forget.

Day 3: This morning, you will want to take time to go to the Delta Ballroom for the Art, Antique and Craft Fair. This huge fair will give you a chance to view the best in crafts and art. You will also have a ticket to get in the Ice Palace, a new exhibit of carvings, sculptures and holiday themed displays – all made of ice. We’ll then head out to the largest showboat in the world, the mighty GENERAL JACKSON. You will be greeted by strolling musicians as you march up the gangplank. You’ll take in the spectacular scenery as well as a lively country and comedy show and bountiful buffet done in “Southern Style Cookin!” Following the showboat, we will enjoy some free time at the hotel before departing to the best known show of Nashville “The Grand Ole Opry” showing in the original spot, the Historic Ryman Auditorium. It’s sure to be an evening to remember. Entertainment at it’s best. Back to our rooms in this elaborate hotel, — ours to enjoy.

Day 4: This morning it’s time to see the town. Our local step-on-guide will point out the many points of interest in this musical town. After some free time and lunch on your own, we will visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. The museum has many exhibits, starting with the roots of country music. There is even a Demo Gallery where local musicians and songwriters showcase their skills. Back to the hotel for some relaxation time and dinner on your own before we enjoy another one of the performances that make this tour so special, the Radio City Rockettes. A high energy, high kicking spectacular Christmas show. Back to our rooms for the last night of our stay.

Day 5: We’ll have to say goodbye to Nashville this morning, as we head north and west. We’ll be driving most of the day, arriving just east of St. Louis for one last Christmas feast of this tour. Our stop is at the Lady of the Snows. With their elaborate lighting display of the nativity and the aroma of the Christmas dinner, we’re eager for one more treat. We’ll overnight in St. Charles, MO.

Day 6: Driving home today, we’ll reminisce about the festive time that we had. You’ll be eager to arrive at home and make final preparations for your own celebration with family and friends. We hope that this has truly put you into the holiday spirit!!
